The Mummy

Jerry Goldsmith delivered the goods for director Stephen Sommers after their successful collaboration on Deep Rising 2 years earlier. Taking the same attitude to the boys own adventure as Spielberg did in his Indiana Jones movies and throwing in more laughs and bigger action set pieces The Mummy proved to be a box office winner exceeding $400 Million worldwide box office. Goldsmith's score has everything you could wish for A massive orchestral feast with lengthy sustained and stop-start action combined with epic thematic material and sweeping love themes. Goldsmith's score is a joy from beginning to end!
