Intrada tease The Chairman Kickstarter!!!

Intrada have recorded the main title from the Chairman at their recent Abbott and Costello recording with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Teasing fans that their next Kickstarter project will be this important score that sadly has only existed on LP and with no album master tapes CDs have been LP sourced. Varese’s Fox Box had a selection of tracks from mono tape with one short track for the Market sequence as previously unreleased.

Of course things do turn up sometimes, but I think if anything more was going to be found, it would have been included on the Twilight Time Blu-ray's isolated score track produced by Mike Matessino. Even if music stems for the film were discovered (like were the source for Seconds or Warning Shot), it really wouldn't work for this score because so much of it was dialed out and unused in the film. I think a complete new recording from the original written music is the best possible scenario at this point, and I can't wait for Intrada to launch their campaign!

Great to see the digital releases of Leigh Philips’ stunning new Goldsmith release out for the Kickstarter supporters. Been playing the scores all weekend. Fabulous recordings and performances. Definitely exceeded expectations. Absolute treat to hear these scores properly for the first time. Super package with excellent notes.

Again well done and thank you to the team behind this very special release. Hope everyone is enjoying it as much as me.
